CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:

The blasting subcontractor, Maine Drilling and Blasting (MDB) will be onsite continuing investigatory work for future blasting activities. MDB will continue boring (drilling holes into the ground) on U.S. 2/7 at locations along the new future waterline and utility duct bank to determine the location of ledge beneath the roadway surface. Sawcutting and boring work will take place between South Park Drive and Mountain View Drive. This work will be completed under single lane closures in both directions along U.S. 2/7.

Drill used to bore into the ground to determine the location of ledge beneath the roadway surface.
